Granite Countertops -Tips & Care
Do not use bleach or highly acidic solutions. It will dissolve the granite coating and the seals.
Wipe stains as soon as possible using a clean and soft cloth on the stained area. Make sure that you reseal your granite countertop every 2 or 3 years by using a non-toxic sealer that is safe for food preparation areas.
Avoid abrasives on your granite surfaces to keep their high gloss finish and prevent scratches (even though it's almost impossible to scratch because it's one of the hardest materials on earth).
You can fill chips and scratches with clear super glue for light surfaces and pigmented epoxy for dark granite. Overfill, then remove excess with a razor blade.
